USPS/DHL eCommerce domestic U.S. labels update
USPS requirements related to DHL eCommerce domestic U.S. labels
have been met in our update from December 31st, 2023
.The following changes, which
USPS
required effective January 21, 2024
and are now compliant are:
1)
Parcel Select Lightweight has consolidated with Parcel Select
Parcel Select will apply to parcels for weights both above and below 1 lb.
This is visible as a mail classification text and Service Type Code change on the labels.
2)
2D barcodes added to some labels containing Dangerous Goods
This change affects all DG Categories except 01 and 04 (lithium batteries contained in device).
Two 2D barcodes have been added to DG Categories 02, 03, 05, 06, 08, and 09
In addition, please note:
- There are no changes to DHL eCommerce products, however, the applicable label output is changing for parcels under 1 lb. and some DG labels.
- USPS endorsements have changed, effective January 21, 2024. Reach USPS if you need any follow-up communication with details and guidance.
