create users without needed email address
Edward Aguiar
Understandably, the requirement for each user to have an email address to create individual accounts can seem limiting, especially in situations where not all users have corporate email addresses. However, sharing credentials poses significant security risks, including lack of traceability and accountability, which could lead to potential breaches and non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
There are a few ideas that may not be ideal but may help bridge the gap -
Role-based Email Addresses: You can create role-based or service-specific email addresses for users who need access but don't have personal company email addresses. This approach still allows for individual logins and maintains traceability. Here users will share a group email.
Aliases: Email aliases that use a plus sign and are a handy feature provided by many email services like Gmail, Outlook, and others. This feature allows you to create variations of your email address by adding a plus (+) sign and any combination of words or numbers after your email username but before the @ symbol. Using this approach is possible to utilize a single email BUT use define as many aliases as needed - one per each user. By default all aliases accounts will have their emails delivered to a single mailbox but within Techdinamics product will have separate accounts.
Here's how it works:
Basic Structure
Original Email: username@example.com
Alias with Plus Sign: username+anything@example.com
